The most “creative” awards show of the summer
shone through on Tuesday 8th of July, complete with flamingoes and Brazilian
Dancers. In its second year, the APA Creative Awards, dubbed “The Olives” played
host to a “innovative” crowd of over 500 at The Kensington Roof Gardens,
showcasing and celebrating the innovation and creativity within the customer
publishing industry.
The ‘fun and flirty’ dress code, helped to keep the atmosphere laid back as
guests wandered through the gardens high above Kensington High Street,
accompanied by a Spanish guitar trio and glasses of champagne. After the Awards,
hosted by the fabulous Mariella Frostrup, there was more drinking to be done,
this time accompanied by Tropicana, a Brazilian band complete with feather clad
dancing girls.
